Ricky Burns has become the third Briton to win world titles at three different weights, beating Michele di Rocco by stoppage for the WBA super-lightweight title.
Backed by a raucous Glasgow crowd, Burns first felled the Italian in the final seconds of the third round.
Di Rocco seldom threatened, and was finally castled in the eighth.
Only two British boxers – Duke McKenzie and Bob Fitzsimmons – and no Scot has achieved the hat-trick of belts before.
